Ms Amina Razvi

Chief Executive Officer, Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC)

Trained as an architect, Ms Razvi has designed and managed the construction of retail stores, skyscrapers, houses, hotels, and museums. She has a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She leads the executive team and works with the board of directors to develop and implement SAC’s strategic plan. She works actively with global members to increase the adoption of the Higg Index and improvement of Higg scores through impact solutions.

Mr Dirk Vantyghem

Director General, The European Apparel and Textile Confederation (EURATEX)

Mr Vantyghem joined EURATEX in 2019. EURATEX represents the interests of 160,000 European companies in the textiles and clothing industry towards the European Union. His mandate is to promote a competitive, sustainable and innovative European textiles and clothing industry. He has an economic background and holds a Masters degree from the College of Europe, Bruges.

Mr Ernesto Maurer

President, CEMATEX

Mr Maurer is the President of the Swiss Textile Machinery Association and concurrently President of CEMATEX. After two decades in weaving, textile electronics and technical textiles, he spent his last decade as CEO of SSM AG, a Swiss winding technology manufacturer. He holds a master’s degree in structural engineering from the Technical University of Zurich, and a master’s degree in economy from the University of Lausanne.

Mr John Mowbray

Founder & Director, MCL News & Media

Mr Mowbray is an award-winning Environmental Biology graduate from The University of Manchester. His company aims for motivating key textile industry stakeholders in the global supply chains. He is the co-founder of RITE Group in 2007. He ran Planet Textiles summit and a few events with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition since 2009.
